Contact About AvailabilityAbout
Lexi Henderson is an emerging art therapist, wellness practitioner, and movement educator whose work is rooted in the intersection of creativity, embodiment, and mental health. She is completing her Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling at Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM, building on a multidisciplinary academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, as well as certifications in Life and Health Coaching and Yoga Instruction.
Lexi’s approach is grounded in the belief that healing is not solely cognitive—it can also be experienced through the body, creative expression, relationship, and connection. Her clinical and community-based experiences include supporting youth and families, crisis intervention, group facilitation, and developing spaces for self-exploration and emotional growth. She integrates expressive arts, somatic and mindfulness-based practices, movement, and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches to support individuals in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and connection.
At the heart of Lexi’s work is a commitment to creating spaces where people can slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with themselves in ways that honor their individual experiences. Her work invites curiosity over judgment and emphasizes that growth is not about becoming someone new, but creating the conditions to more fully inhabit who we already are.
